The Volvo Ocean Race was due to stopover in the City of Sails, and this worldwide yacht race is something to get excited about. In conjunction with their newly released V90 Cross Country, Volvo Cars created a campaign around the race, for which we were brought on board. We road tripped in the all new V90 from Queenstown to Auckland. 2,500km’s in 9 days, capturing the journey along the way.
We shared Volvo Cars photo content on @destinationnz and @craigjcampbell in live time as we travelled, and showcased the trips highlights on @newzealandguide. The campaigns high-quality photo & video content of the V90 in New Zealand landscapes was viewed over 900,000 times.
The Volvo Cars campaign utilised both Instagram Sponsered Posts as well as Instagram stories to share the journey. This content was also shared across the Volvo Cars Social Media channels, reaching their online community.
